1. Entertainment only

BaZi Compass presents interpretations from a classical Chinese metaphysical tradition (Four Pillars of Destiny / 八字). All content — charts, daily fortunes, monthly and annual readings — is provided for reflection, cultural interest and entertainment purposes only. It is not, and must not be treated as, medical, psychological, financial, legal, or any other professional advice. Never make health, investment, relationship or safety decisions based on this app. You remain fully responsible for your choices.

2. No guarantees

We make no claim that any reading is accurate, complete, or predictive of actual events. Astrological content is inherently interpretive. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

3. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

Paid tiers (VIP 1 "Daily Fortune" and VIP 2 "All-Access") unlock additional content on the device where the key is activated. They are offered as subscriptions billed by the storefront you buy from (Gumroad, or an app store):

• Auto-renewing subscriptions continue and are charged by that storefront each period until you cancel. You may cancel at any time through that storefront (or, for app-store purchases, your device's subscription settings); the app's More → Manage / cancel links you there.
• When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period already paid for, and are not charged again.
• While a subscription is live, the key you were given keeps working — there is no key to re-enter each period. Access follows the subscription's own status: the app re-confirms it with the storefront periodically, and access ends once the storefront reports the subscription as cancelled and its paid period over, refunded, or charged back.
• Prepaid single-period keys (gifts, promotions, one-off passes) are not subscriptions: they follow the BaZi (solar-term) calendar — a month key runs to the next major solar term (节), a year key to Lichun (立春), the astronomical start of the next BaZi year — and then simply stop, with no further charge and nothing to cancel.

Master Reading is a made-to-order personal service. Your chart is analysed by the same engine that powers this app, and the resulting report is then read through and finalised by hand before it is sent to you. By purchasing you acknowledge that this work begins as soon as payment is received — so orders cannot be cancelled once underway, except where the storefront's refund policy or your non-waivable statutory consumer rights provide otherwise. If a delivered reading is defective or not as described, contact us and we will put it right.

Other refunds follow the policy stated on the storefront's product page and that store's rules.

4. Acceptable use

Do not resell, redistribute or publicly repost the app's premium content or license keys. Do not use the app to harass others or to present its output as professional advice to third parties.

5. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BaZi Compass and its author are not liable for any damages arising from use of the app or reliance on its content.

6. Age

Intended for users 13+. Fortune content is written for a general audience.

7. Where this service is offered

BaZi Compass is published in English for an international audience. It is not offered to, marketed to, or intended for users in mainland China, and it is not distributed through app stores or payment channels operating there. Anyone who chooses to access it from a jurisdiction where such content or payment is restricted does so on their own initiative and at their own risk, and is responsible for compliance with their local law.
